TIME FOR GOLD
by Paul Ainsworth (About the author)
Jack Warren, with help from his friend Frank McFarland, develops a time machine and plans for adventurous profit instead of easy money. However, because Jack is a scientist and Frank is a historian they need help with the robbery. They meet Roxie Porter and Tina Mendeena in a Washington nightclub and ask them to join their time-traveling adventure because they rob banks for a living. Jack’s time machine is not date-accurate, though, and they jump through time to roughly the desired date. This causes chaos for all the characters. Join Jack, Roxie, Tina and Frank as they fumble through time – the Civil War, the California Gold Rush, the 1960s and the near future. Be on the look-out for Albert Anderson, a Civil War captain who spends most of his time embroiled in confusion. His love for Tina makes for an unusual love story between a 21st Century woman and a 19th Century man, both of whom are exploring sex and emotion across time.
